  • 1955

    Opened a coffee shop "GIRAUD" in Kanda-Jinbocho,Chiyoda,Tokyo. where you can listen to French songs (chansons).

    Launched cafeteria-style restaurant.

    Opened "GIRAUD" restaurant with a parking lot in Todoroki, Setagaya, Tokyo.
    Became a pioneer in the field of full-fledged suburban restaurants.

    Opened Pizza House "GIRAUD" in Hibiya. Became very popular that they increased the number of stores.

    Cake Shop "PATISSERIE GIRAUD", Fried rice specialized restaurant "KOFUKU CHA-HAN RO" and Cafe "CAFE BRAUNER" opened.
    "TEXAS KING STEAK", "ROCKY PIZZA" and "YOKOHAMA SHITAMACHI SHOKUDO" opened in the food court.

    Formed a Business Alliance with "CAFE LANDTMANN," a long-established café in Vienna, Austria, And "A16," a popular California-style Italian restaurant in San Francisco, U.S.A.
    Both of which opened their first restaurants in Japan.
    And, has acquired all the shares of MAGURO ICHIBA Co., Ltd. and started the "MAGURO ICHIBA" chain of shops.

    Overseas subsidiary "GIRAUD RESTAURANT ASIA (Cambodia) Co., Ltd "

    First Opened Overseas (Phnom Penh, Cambodia).

    Udon Specialized restaurant "OGOTTO", Italian Hawaii style cuisine "MANALOHA", Pasta & Pancake "AHA AINA", Pasta &French Toast "GOOOOO! PASTA!!" opened.

    Transfer and acquisition of business "ARUDENTEI" 2 pasta house which from MAXiM'S DE PARiS Co., Ltd. And made them directly managed restaurants.
    Japanese Style Cafe "AKANESARYO", Beef tongue specialized restaurant "SENDAI TANTA "Café and Bar "PALETTE GARDEN" and food court "LIVE FOOD MARKET" opened.
